Our nation’s obesity epidemic impacts the quality of life for both adults and children.

Join us in bringing awareness of the disease to the forefront by participating in the Walk from Obesity, Tacoma’s first obesity awareness event.

This two-mile walk loops along Tacoma’s beautiful Ruston Way, and is sponsored by the Obesity Action Coalition and Franciscan Health System. Registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt  (registration for children 12 and under is FREE). Pledge sheets are also available. All funds raised from this event go toward increasing obesity education, research and prevention.
